Blog Roll

A bried introduction

Some people have asked me why I don't do a personal blog. I have an opinion about everything, and it is usually a pretty well thought out position. At times, others even find these opinions worth paying attention to. But, I always thought I could reach just as many people by speaking to them as I ever could on a blog. The net is full of aspiring bloggers, and most are never seen by more than a small handful of people. I see no reason to believe I will be any different. But, there is a chance that someone could want to know my opinion on an issue and will not be able to get in touch with me. Or, maybe someone wants to share my words with someone else. Either way, you have your chance here.

To begin, below is a brief outline of the things I believe. While this is far from all inclusive. But, reading through this should give you an idea of what I believe.

1. To be free, a man must be willing to fight for freedom. This means being willing to do bad things to bad people. It also means being capable of doing those things. Simply put, if you are not armed, you are not free. If you are not trained, you are not free. Subjects believe the government will take care of them. Citizens stand ready to protect themselves.

2. America is the greatest nation this world has seen since Old Testament Israel. The creation of this grand experiment in democracy was rooted in God. As we turn away from God, we turn away from our greatness. No matter what government schools teach you, the founders of this nation were Godly men that know that were were created free by a loving God. Only the evil in men manages to take the freedom from other men.

3. There is no such thing as an undocumented alien. There is such a thing as an illegal alien. By definition these people are criminals. They should be deported at once. No exceptions, no questions. Those that give them jobs should be put in prison. We understand that we have a great country and that many would like to have what we offer However, do not have room for everyone. Come here legally or stay where you are. If you would spend the energy making your nation better rather than trying to sneak into ours, we would all be better off.

4. The war on terror is the most important time in the history of our nation. If we lose, we will never be the same. We are fighting for our very way of life. If you do not understand that setting a date to leave Iraq is treason, you do not belong here. Click the back arrow and ready something else.

5. Our political system is broken. Both parties seek to win partisan battles rather than doing the best thing for our nation. If they cannot work together for the good of all, our elected officials need to be replaced. Contact them regularly and remind them that you vote.

6. Speaking of voting, if you don't vote you have no right to complain. In fact, you have no right to call yourself a citizen. But, not everyone should vote. Educate yourself and make informed decisions. Do not walk into the polling place without knowing the views of every person running for office, or at least the major candidates you should stay home. But remember, don't complain. It is your own fault that you are not qualified to vote.

That is enough for now. If you happen across this and you do not know me, you will get to know me better quickly. I'll post one or two updates a week, unless something important happens- then I will update as needed.
